INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL SCREENING EVENT:

We are currently teaming up with SAMESIDE to host a virtual event with the creators of SILENT ROSE; a new Topic original film, on April 7th, with Director Mitch Dickman and cast. The conversation will be moderated by executive producer Evan Shapiro (Portlandia).  The audience will be able to participate in a panel Q&A and will have the opportunity to discuss their thoughts on the film and its themes in smaller breakout sessions.

SILENT ROSE is a portrait of life in high school after the 2016 presidential election fallout. With students and staff facing lockdown drills, disinformation campaigns and racial inequality, it is an alarmingly relevant story. From Variety’s Top Documaker to Watch, Mitch Dickman, Academy Award nominated producer Shane Boris and Emmy and Peabody Award winning producer Evan Shapiro.
