Strike Back Studios In Association with Realization Films Brings the Revenge Thriller to Audiences Everywhere August 17th
(Los Angeles, CA—June 30, 2021) Strike Back Studios continues its hot streak with its latest acquisition of the Turbo Panda Productions action thriller "Overrun" the feature film directorial debut from filmmaker Josh Tessier ("The Mandalorian," "The Walking Dead: Red Machete," "The Thundermans") that is planned for a TVOD/Digital platform and Blu-Ray/DVD United States release beginning on August 17th, 2021. International sales are being handled by Bleiberg Entertainment's genre label Compound B and presented to foreign buyers at this year's Cannes Market.
"Overrun" follows former military extraction specialist Marcus Lombardi (Omid Zader ), whose only chance of saving his informant sister and their family is to track down a mysterious briefcase. "Overrun" offers audiences a thrill ride filled with martial arts action work and epic gun fights. Realization Films first feature project is "Disrupted" and are in post-production on the documentary feature "Buried" that focuses on the Alpine Meadows avalanche in the Lake Tahoe area in 1982. All 3 companies partnered with the production company TBVE on the documentary "The United States of Insanity" that is in post-production and follows the rap group Insane Clown Posse and their loyal fan base the Juggalos.
Strike Back Studios is focused on addressing the growing concerns from producers with regards to the distribution of independent features. The company will work with producers early on in the production process to develop unique and innovate marketing/promotional strategies for their release. This will save producers from having to rely on taking their project to a film festival with the hope of a major sale to make them financially whole.
