Taps Sheléa for His Debut Album

A Holiday Classic

‘The Most Wonderful Time’

Featuring Jennifer Lopez, Boyz II Men, JoJo, Cory Henry, Sheléa, Take 6 & more

(Los Angeles - November 27, 2020) – Hollywood’s most gifted singer and premier vocal coach Stevie Mackey teams up with Sheléa for a melodic rendition of "Mary Did You Know" for his debut album, The Most Wonderful Time.

Both Sheléa and Mackey dominate the track with rich, powerful vocals and dynamic rhythmic runs. Get it HERE.

Produced by multi-platinum producer trio THE ELEVEN (Meghan Trainor, Celine Dion, Sean Kingston), ‘The Most Wonderful Time’ includes a number of original tunes alongside elevated recordings of classics like “Last Christmas”, “Let It Snow”, and “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”. This modern-day album also includes a fresh and eclectic mix of Stevie’s most renowned clients and dearest friends like Jennifer Lopez, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men, JoJo, Cory Henry, Sheléa, Take 6, and more.

Each track is the product of an organic collaboration, crafted with pure intentions to spread joy in the midst of these uncertain times. The lead single of the project, “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” holds particularly special meaning to Mackey as it features his longtime friend Jennifer Lopez, who has never before released a holiday tune.

“This album is a combination of my favorite time of the year, my favorite people, and my favorite activity— singing. Making this album gave me an outlet during months of quarantine and unrest… it took me away from reality and back to my childhood memories.” - Stevie Mackey

ABOUT SHELÉA:

With widespread comparison to the vocal expertise of legendary Whitney Houston, and the piano prowess of Alicia Keys, it’s no surprise that artist and actress Sheléa (pronounced shuh-lay-yuh) has garnered co-signs from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Mary J Blige, Missy Elliott, David Foster, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, Quincy Jones, and more. Blending traditional pop, jazz, R&B and soul, Sheléa brings a contemporary edge to classics, and a classic touch to contemporary pop standards. With years of making a name for herself as a vocal powerhouse, having performed twice at the White House; Library of Congress; Carnegie Hall; the Kennedy Center, and more. Her 2020 acting debut was as Dorinda Clark in The Clark Sisters: The First Ladies of Gospel. The Lifetime biopic drew 2.7 million viewers and “was the strongest original movie in all television for 2020 across key demos, including both broadcast and cable.” She will uncover her next album very soon!
